Shrimp (Prawn) Cakes


Ingredients:

2 cups chopped, cooked shrimp
1/4 Onion, Chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp Chilli powder
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp. Cooking oil
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 bunch Cilantro

Method:
Heat 1 tsp. oil in a meduim skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and saute until translucent. Set it aside to cool
Next Combine the cooled onion, shrimp, bread crumbs, chilli powder, egg, turmeric powder, chopped cilantro leaves and milk.
Mix well and shape into 10 patties. Cover and chill in fridge for 2 hours.
Heat the remaining oil in the skillet on medium high heat. Saute the shrimp patties on each side until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with ketchup.
